Truth and Facts Are not the same thing.

True Story

A Truth and A Fact can be the same thing; But are not necessarily always the same thing.

Examples are often found in many situations.

Example 1 : When a Posted Sign states that a Public Park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. This is true and a fact.
However, If during certain times, a Public Authority deems it necessary to close the park for safety reasons, the truth is, the park is closed (at whatever time),
and the fact remains that the sign says the Park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Example 2 : The Sun is Hot. This is agreed to be true: But it is also a Fact that no one has ever checked the temperature of the Sun with a thermometer.
So, truths are something agreed upon, and facts are something that can be verified.
Most people agree the Sun is Hot, yet no one can claim as a fact that they have checked the temperature of the Sun. Ridiculous, but True.
There are estimates of How Hot the Sun is, but no Factual Verifications.

Example 3 : On Earth, Gravity is a Fact, and a Truth. In Earth's atmosphere if you fall out of a plane, you drop to the Earth. That is True.
In Space However, if you fall out of a plane, you float in Space. This is also True.
So, as a Matter of Fact, it depends where one is, in order to determine one's own truth.
